As I mentioned on my Facebook page, I am forever indebted to this family because they are essentially why this business came to be and flourished in the first place. When Nick was born, Shelley asked me to take newborn pictures because she knew I had a nice camera. Unfortunately, having a nice camera doesn’t mean you know anything about photography…and I will admit I did not know anything back then besides the crash course I gave myself on Google before heading over to her house that day. Well, people liked what Nick and I came up with, and since then it has been an incredible journey, from reading my camera manuals to a million more Google crash courses to weddings to internships to several years of pure experience. An incredible, crazy, hard-to-believe-it-even-happened journey. But I can’t say I hate it.
