This engagement shoot was the first time I met Ryan (on my third day in the city, I believe). I won’t lie – I was nervous. But it came naturally, as it usually does, and by the end of the shoot I was in my element, despite being surrounded by the concrete jungle that is so not my element (at least it wasn’t at the time). I remember getting back on the subway after this to head home and just thinking about how ready I was. Ready to take more pictures. Ready to learn. Ready for NYC.
